My husband and I took a short one-night trip to Yufuin, staying at a beautiful farm-driven auberge. We truly enjoyed the delicious dishes prepared by the chef, using fresh ingredients from their own farm close to Mt. Yufu.
The open-air hot spring bath was relaxing. We started our dinner in the indoor garden, looking out at the harvest landscape while enjoying some amuse-bouche, and then moved to the restaurant. My husband loved the wine pairing, while I enjoyed their special tea. Each dish was phenomenal.
The next morning, breakfast gave me a wonderful energy boost. They even prepared gluten-free crepes for me.
The room was so cozy, we had the best time just relaxing there.
